Foundation’s Actorfest Debut

The SAG Foundation is thrilled to have participated in Actorfest LA, Back Stage’s 17th annual event bringing the industry’s most influential casting directors, agents, managers and producers together for the benefit of actors and their careers.
The Saturday, November 14 all-day event took place at downtown L.A.’s California Market Center, and our first Actorfest booth brought SAG Foundation literature and staff to share news of the Foundation’s free programs to countless actors seeking career planning and advisement. Two on-site computer stations made registration for the www.sagfoundation.org website and Foundation newsletters easy and immediate, while hundreds of attendees signed up as willing Foundation volunteers, eager to join a team of actors helping actors.
In its efforts to celebrate the actor in career, life and community, this inaugural presence at Back Stage’s Actorfest is a welcome step further into the actor’s network of benefits and support.
