BookPALS Founder Barbara Bain (MISSION IMPOSSIBLE) and actors Jack McBrayer (30 ROCK, WRECK IT RALPH, PHINEAS & FERB), Karan Brar (JESSIE) and Kaitlyn Dever (LAST MAN STANDING) and more than 150 kids and parents.

 

WHAT:     

The Screen Actors Guild Foundation is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its signature children’s literacy program BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools). Founded by actor Barbara Bain and the SAG Foundation, BookPALS is based on the premise that children would read more if only they saw the potential in books and who better to bring the magic of stories to life than performers. On May 11 at 9:45 a.m., the SAG Foundation will present a free family event to celebrate 20 Years of BookPALS with celebrity readers be followed with a kids party.
