– Julianna Margulies at Conversations
The Conversations program offers free screenings followed by inspiring Q&As with leading actors and casts, as well as Career Retrospectives with preeminent actors who explore the process and profession of acting with an audience of fellow performers. Conversations focus on personal experiences and artistic influences that inform and shape careers; discuss past and current projects; share valuable insights into the craft and industry; and preserve creative legacies in the Actors Archive.
Presented in Los Angeles, New York and cities nationwide, we offer two types of Conversations: screenings of films and television shows followed by Q&As with casts and principals, and two-hour Career Retrospectives with the leading, influential actors of our time. All Conversations are professionally moderated, recorded and available in our video gallery.
Conversations include the casts of Moonlight, La La Land, Manchester by the Sea, Fences, Lion, Florence Foster Jenkins, The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime, Carol, Mr. Robot, This Is Us, The Crown, Grace and Frankie, Queen Sugar, How to Get Away With Murder, Veep and Transparent.
Our collection of over 300 Career Retrospectives with notable actors and broadcasters includes Morgan Freeman, Leonardo DiCaprio, Helen Mirren, Michael Keaton, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jennifer Aniston, Mahershala Ali, Kevin Costner, Edward Norton, Octavia Spencer, Louis Gossett, Jr, Matthew McConaughey, Eddie Redmayne, Matt Damon, Sir Ian McKellen, Al Pacino, Ewan MacGregor, Uzo Aduba, Tom Brokaw, Dan Rather, Shirley MacLaine, Kirk Douglas, Jane Russell, Robert Duvall, Henry Fonda, Charlton Heston, Diahann Carroll and hundreds more live in our permanent archive, with many available for viewing online.
